Foundation 4Life Donates $10,000 to Children’s Organization in India
Salt Lake City, Utah (July 16, 2009) 4Life India announced today a $10,000 USD Foundation 4Life® donation to SOS Children's Villages in Vottinagulapally Village, Rajender Nager Mandal, Hyderabad, India. Foundation 4Life is the service branch of the company.
A special event at Children’s Villages in Hyderabad included a check presentation to the organization and unveiling of a Foundation 4Life plaque on the premises. The event was attended by 4Life President Steve Tew and India General Manager Manoj Shirodkar.
SOS Children’s Villages is one of the largest private childcare organizations in the world, and operates on the principle that every child deserves the benefit of a family. SOS Children’s Villages of India (SOS CVI) is committed to the care of over 200,000 orphaned, abandoned, or homeless children. Each child finds a new, loving family with other people who have come from similar circumstances.
The Hyderabad location is home to over 130 children. It is well-equipped with classrooms, an activity hall, medical clinic, computer and music rooms, community and guest house, and store. 4Life has pledged on-going support to SOS Children’s Villages by providing hands-on service opportunities for distributors and employees, bringing the SOS children to 4Life events, and donating 4Life products.
